Vieraskielinen sisällönopetus (CLIL), jossa kouluaineita opetetaan vieraalla kielellä, on kasvattanut suosiotaan varsinkin Euroopassa. Sisällön ja kielen oppimisen tulokset CLIL-opetuksessa ovat yleisesti hyviä, mutta menetelmä on opettajalle työläs pääasiassa siksi, että CLIL-materiaaleja on tuskin ollenkaan saatavilla. The coordination of multiple external representations is important for learning, but yet a difficult task for students, requiring instructional support. The subject in this study covers a typical relation in physics between abstract mathematical equations (definitions of divergence and curl) and a visual representation (vector field plot). To support the connection across both representations, two instructions with written explanations, equations, and visual representations (differing only in the presence of visual cues) were designed and their impact on students’ performance was tested. [ES] El MALL (Mobile Assisted Language Learning) aporta una inmensa cantidad de aplicaciones de aprendizaje de lenguas. En este contexto es necesario que el triple proceso de análisis, evaluación y desarrollo de aplicaciones de MALL cumpla con dos premisas fundamentales. En primer lugar, debe llevarse a cabo a partir de criterios pedagógicos específicos del aprendizaje de lenguas.
